It’s time for Y’art, y’all!
Join Billy Hedel’s Studio at the fall edition of YART, the wildly popular outdoor fine art sale at which an eclectic group of local artists offer their work at discounted prices. Art collections have been started and built upon at YART, which takes place Saturday, October 19 at 532 S. Boeke Road (just north of Lincoln) from 10 am to 3 pm. (Rain date is Sunday, October 20.)
Our hosts and event organizers, Jesika and Toby Ellis, have added a variation to this edition of YART. In the past, the top price allowed was $ 30. That has been raised to $50 based on customer feedback. However, the artists committed to limiting items offered in the $ 30-$50 range to no more than 1/3 of our inventory.
This change allows us to bring you original works in a higher price range that was previously excluded. We will offer some exceptional deals in this category. Also, we are discounting all back stock to half-price.
Here’s a sampler of a new series Billy started – My New Orleans. Several have already sold, but those shown below will be available at YART, along with Evansville-themed paintings, drawings and prints; a collection of tree paintings; figure drawing ‘cut-ups’ and ‘cut-outs’; and a variety of other things, all priced to sell. We hope to see you there.
The Tomb of Marie Laveau (Glapion) $ 25
In the Bywater (Double Gallery house) $ 40
The Old Spanish House, French Quarter $ 40
Little Painting, Big Tree $ 15
